Site Engineerrequired to join a leading Contractor in Cork working on a large rail project. Role: Setting out Site surveying Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly Assisting the procurement department Assisting the commercial department. Completing SHEQ forms Installation of precast concrete cable troughs along each side of the existing rail tracks Construction of insitu concrete foundations for the installation of electronic signalling kiosks (SMIOEHs) Construction of insitu concrete foundations for the installation of substations / power kiosks / generators (PSPs) Installation of duct crossings underneath the existing trail tracks Construction of signal bases both insitu concrete and precast units Piling works Construction of retaining walls Earthworks Cabling works Requirements: Must hold a degree in Civil Engineering or similar 1 - 3 years recent experience on Civil Engineering projects in Ireland or the UK (mandatory) Must have knowledge setting out equipment including GPS, site engineer level, total station Must be available for both day, night and weekend shifts as needed Excellent MS Office skills Salary Salary circa €50k - €60k DOE Vehicle/Fuel allowance Phone/Laptop If you are aSite Engineerconsidering a career move, please feel free to send yourCV or contact Lisa Cullen on for a confidential discussion.GPC will not send any applicants CVs to clients without a full discussion and prior consent.
