Job Title: Site Engineer Location: Mallow, County Cork Project: Long Term Residential Housing About Us: An established main contractor committed to delivering high-quality residential projects. With a strong reputation for excellence, currently seeking a skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join in Mallow, County Cork. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a long-term residential housing project. Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, and safety standards. Coordinate with the project manager and other stakeholders to achieve project milestones. Surveying and Setting Out: Conduct topographic, boundary, and as-built surveys. Accurately set out buildings, roads, drainage, and other construction elements. Verify the accuracy of drawings and plans to ensure alignment with construction requirements. Quality Control: Monitor and maintain quality standards in construction processes. Conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify any defects or issues. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with specifications. Health and Safety: Implement and enforce health and safety protocols on the construction site. Conduct regular safety meetings and training for site personnel. Investigate and report any accidents or incidents promptly. Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution. Communicate effectively with the project team and provide regular updates on progress. Resolve any technical issues that may arise during construction. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors degree in civil engineering or related field. Proven experience as a Site Engineer in residential construction projects. Proficient in using surveying instruments and AutoCAD. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction industry. Strong organizational and communication skills.
