Site Engineer – Netherlands * Multinational CSA Contractor * Up to 70,000 + Package * Fulltime relocation position * Private accommodation & vehicle provided * Employed under Dutch Employment Contract or CIS Under UK Tax Law * Right to Work in the European Union Essential We are currently searching for Site/Setting Out Engineers for a leading contractor in the Data Centre sector. This contractor specialises in CSA (Civils, Structural & Architectural) Packages and operates throughout the UK and Europe. Typical package values range from £25m - £60m and as an Engineer you will be instrumental in delivering these schemes. The Role: * Conducting detailed surveys of the construction site to determine precise locations, levels, and dimensions for construction activities using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS systems, and laser levels. * Marking out reference points and lines to guide construction work accurately according to engineering drawings and specifications. * Monitoring construction work to ensure it meets quality standards and complies with relevant regulations and specifications. This may involve inspecting materials, checking dimensions, and verifying workmanship. * Collaborating with other members of the construction team, including architects, engineers, project managers, and subcontractors, to ensure smooth progress of the project. This involves communicating effectively and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise. * Keeping accurate records of site activities, including survey data, construction progress, quality inspections, and health and safety reports. * Identifying and resolving technical problems or challenges encountered during construction. Required: * 2 -3 years working as a site/setting out engineer. * A background working with subcontractors specialising in RC Frame, Steel Frame, Heavy Civils and Cladding is beneficial. * Knowledge of various engineering equipment such as Leica TS16, GS16 or Topcon * Able to relocate full-time to another country within a reasonable timeline. * Desire/drive to move into management down the line. As specified above this role can be either permanent under Dutch Tax Law or can be freelance CIS through UK Tax Law. If under UK Tax Law you can only be in one location for 6 months at a time so you will need to be prepared to move to other locations in Europe.
