Site Engineer Excel are delighted to partner with a rapidly growing Irish main contractor in hiring a Site Engineer to be based in Dublin on a permanent basis. My client has projects across all sectors including residential, commercial, pharma, industrial and civils. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out, managing subcontractor relationships, and coordinating materials and site activities. Key Responsibilities for Site Engineer Setting out using total station. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Welfare Management systems. Interpret and work from project drawings, specifications, and BOQs. Foster strong relationships with design teams and subcontractors to ensure timely project delivery. Manage subcontractor performance to achieve programme and quality standards. Coordinate with the Quantity Surveyor to order and track the delivery of materials and equipment. Attend and participate in site meetings with architects, subcontractors, and project personnel. Oversee project delivery to ensure compliance with quality management systems and building regulations. Requirements for Site Engineer Relevant third-level qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or Surveying. 2-3+ years of construction experience, particularly in residential, commercial, or retail projects. Full driving license. Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Project. Experience with a main contractor or subcontractor. Benefits for Site Engineer Competitive salary based on experience.
