Location: Navan, County Meath Project: Residential Construction 90 Homes Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: Competitive, Based on Experience Start Date: Immediate About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Engineer to oversee the construction of a 90-house residential development in Navan, County Meath. This is a key position, integral to the successful and timely delivery of the project. The Site Engineer will manage on-site operations, coordinate with contractors, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage daily site activities, ensuring work is executed in line with project plans, timelines, and specifications. Conduct on-site surveys, manage setting-out, and use precise engineering techniques to guarantee accurate positioning and alignment. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, ensuring all resources are available and work is carried out smoothly. Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards, conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments. Monitor and report on project progress, troubleshooting issues to avoid delays and ensure quality standards. Maintain detailed site records, including project documentation, daily logs, and progress reports. Collaborate closely with the project management team to ensure alignment on timelines, budgets, and resource allocations. Qualifications & Experience: Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 3+ years of site engineering experience, ideally within residential or large-scale construction projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, total stations, and other surveying tools. Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and industry standards. Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and liaise effectively with project stakeholders. Demonstrated commitment to quality and safety standards on site.
