SSA Group are seeking a Site Engineer on behalf of a Main Building Contractor in Galway. You will be based in a residential project in Galway initially, with a strong pipeline of work in the West of Ireland thereafter. €45,000 - €55,000 + package on offer Your main duties will include, but not be limited to: Setting Out: Accurate setting out of building foundations, structures, and other key components. Quality Control: Ensure that all construction work adheres to industry standards and complies with local building codes and regulations. Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols to protect all workers on the construction site and ensure that they follow relevant health and safety regulations. Site Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all site activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and any changes or issues that arise during construction. Communication: Act as a liaison between the site and project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and resolving issues promptly. Subcontractor Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, ensuring that their tasks align with the project schedule and quality standards. And more...
