A reputable and long-standing civil engineering contractor is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join their team for a long-term project based in Kildare. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations to ensure that all works are completed to the highest standards. Conduct surveys, setting out, and levelling the site in accordance with project specifications. Monitor site progress, ensuring work is carried out on time, within budget, and in compliance with health & safety regulations. Liaise with the project team, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of construction activities. Assist in the preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and progress reports. Maintain accurate records of all site activities, ensuring proper documentation for the project lifecycle. Provide technical guidance to on-site teams and address any engineering challenges that arise. Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Minimum 2 years post qualification experience. Strong understanding of setting out and surveying techniques. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work well as part of a team and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
