My client, a top Building & Civil Engineering contractor are now hiring Site Engineers as a result of securing new housing development contracts in the Kilkenny region. Duties: Setting out engineers drawing, site surveys, as-built drawings etc Interpreting drawings for layouts, materials measure etc. Liaising and working with subcontractors and all staff across the site Planning works efficiently to ensure programme targets are achieved on time and in budget Liaising with clients representatives and Design Team as and when required Ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with ISO standards Ordering and control of materials on site Maintaining site records as required Assisting the QS in the re-measurement of work, daily outputs etc Completing any other duties as assigned by line manager Requirements: Degree / Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering / Construction Management or related discipline Strong setting out experience Knowledge of Construction Details Excellent attention to detail Proficient IT skills, including AutoCAD and Civil 3D Strong communication skills - interpersonal, written and oral Ability to work both as part of a team and on their own initiative.
