Job Description
Site Engineer required to lead and manage construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with specifications.
Relevant 3rd level qualification in engineering or construction management is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out surveys and set out for subcontractors, including gridlines and levels for RC frame, foundation, and building services.
- Liaise with the Design Team to resolve on-site design queries.
- Review and comment on drawings, raising RFIs as necessary.
- Perform continuous inspections and quality audits to ensure quality of sub-contractor works.
- Engage with Site Foreman to prepare Technical Submittals and obtain agreement from the Design Team.
- Record approvals and ensure correct installation through construction.
- Lead technical submittals, benchmarks, and inspection management.
- Participate in project monitoring to prevent project delays.
- Understand outputs of each trade and highlight where trades are falling behind.
- Provide assistance during handover, including snagging and preparation of Safety File.
- Manage documentation, including inspection and reporting records.

Requirements:
- Relevant 3rd level qualification in engineering or construction management.
- RC frame experience is essential.
- Quality, attention to detail, regulatory compliance, safe systems of work, economic and aesthetic value, and green focus.
