IDEAL CANDIDATE Relevant 3rd level qualification in engineering / construction management The right candidate must be willing to lead and be responsible for completion of designated tasks and will work across multiple project aspects to deliver build quality across specification, construction and handover stages. RC frame experience is essential. Quality Attention to Detail, Regulatory compliance, Safe Systems of Work, Economic & Aesthetic Value and Green Focus. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Carry out surveys for record and set out for subcontractors Include gridlines & levels for RC frame, foundation, floor slab, building services, site services, house plots, boundaries etc.) Liaise with the Design Team (Architect, Civil and Structural Engineer, M&E etc) to resolve on site design queries. Review and comment on drawings, raising RFIs as necessary. Perform continuous inspections and quality audits to evaluate and ensure quality of sub-contractor works and that specifications are adhered to. Ensure issues are raised and resolved in a timely manner. Engage with Site Foreman to prepare Technical Submittals and take the lead in obtaining agreement of the Design Team. Record approvals and ensure correct installation through construction. Lead technical submittals, benchmarks and inspection management. Participate in project monitoring to prevent project delays. Understand outputs of each trade and highlight where trades are falling behind and reasons for the same. Provide assistance during handover (including snagging, as built documentation, preparation of Safety File etc) Documentation management including inspection and reporting records.
