Job Description
Role: Site/HSE Manager Location: Ireland (Various Locations) We are seeking an experienced Site/HSE Manager to oversee and deliver large-scale construction projects in Ireland. This is a 6-month contract role with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and delivering the project on time, within scope, and budget. Job Scope: Oversee all day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring that the project is delivered on schedule and within the set budget. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure the smooth execution of the project. Monitor progress against the project plan and report on any deviations or risks to senior management. Develop, implement, and enforce HSE policies and procedures across the site in compliance with Irish regulations and industry standards. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Manage relationships with subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to the project's safety and quality standards. Maintain accurate records of all site activities, safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions. Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress, safety performance, and compliance to senior management. Qualifications and Experience to be considered: 5+ years experience within a similar role Proven experience in delivering large scale solar project Happy to travel on a regular basis to different sites Valid HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are essential. SMSTS or equivalent site management certification is highly desirable
