Job Summary: Project Lead-Capex Engineering
Manage the site Capital Program, ensuring approved portfolio delivery to approved deliverables, with a focus on governance, compliance, and project team performance.
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Project Lead-Capex Engineering to manage our site Capital Program, ensuring the delivery of our approved portfolio to approved deliverables. This role requires strong governance, compliance, and project team performance skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the custodian and accountable for updating the financial performance of the capital portfolio, including Assets Under Construction, Impairment, OPEX, CAPEX, Headcount management, etc.
- Coach team members and site peers on the compiling of capital approval documentation to ensure high standards.
- Act as secretary to the local Capital Approval Board, chaired by the site director.
- Ownership for the site Facility Investment Plan, ensuring annual completion as per approval cycle and standard work.
- Provide subject matter expertise to regulatory inspections and interact with auditors as necessary.
- Assist in preparation of large-scale project estimates in alignment with site objectives.
- Site SME for Construction Management and owner of the site permit system.
- Ensure team adherence to all EHS requirements, being a role model for issue resolution.
- Ensure investigations are executed to the highest standard and CAPAs address root causes of issues.
- Adhere to all Quality Compliance standards, including Data Integrity, QA, and QC.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in a similar role in enterprise pharma manufacturing.
- Proven ability to successfully deliver per annum capex portfolio of 10 million euro and above.
- Degree level qualification in engineering.
- Proven skills in communication and presentation of case studies, briefs, and proposals at all levels of an enterprise-level manufacturing firm.
- Significant and recent EHS experience.
- Proven ability to manage the needs of the individual and collective at the enterprise level.
