Job Description

Lead a team of operational employees in a pharmaceutical site in Waterford, ensuring the delivery, monitoring, and control of all services in scope, with a focus on quality, environmental, and health and safety compliance.

Your new role involves leading the integrated facilities management (IFM) for a pharmaceutical site in Waterford, with a focus on delivering, monitoring, and controlling all services in scope. This includes:

  • Providing leadership, management, and development of assigned contracts to ensure financial and operational commitments are met and exceeded.
  • Managing operational budgets, including monthly expenditure, invoicing, and meeting margins and client expectations.
  • Managing employees, including their personal development, performance management, and goal achievement in a safe working environment.
  • Ensuring customer focus within all operational activities and maintaining effective relationships with key client contacts.
  • Managing quality, environmental, and health and safety compliance of operations under your control.
  • Managing any in-scope calibration program.
  • Delivering continuous improvement by employing best practice and innovative solutions.
  • Building positive relationships with clients and customers.
  • Ensuring the outsourced IFM relationship operates within contractual KPI's and SLA's.
  • Leading a team of operational employees and working closely with them to foster team excellence and support their development.
  • Supporting the continuous review of supplier services to ensure best practice and value for money is achieved.
  • Developing Facility Management KPI's and maintaining tracking tools to monitor department commitments and assignments related to compliance and quality systems.
  • Developing detailed shutdown schedules with all stakeholders and tracking and reporting on progress during shutdown execution.
  • Partnering with the Site Maintenance technicians to ensure upkeep of all black and clean utility systems and no business interruption.
  • Analysing data from the computerised maintenance management system and team performance and highlighting opportunities for further improvement.
  • Maintaining c GMP records, both paper based and electronic.
  • Developing and implementing the standard operating procedures for facilities.
  • Following escalation policy for all critical issues.
  • Maintaining monthly reports and KPI's.
  • Hosting Quarterly Business Reviews with key managed service providers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Mechanical or Electrical Qualification.
  • Previous pharmaceutical experience highly desirable.
