SSA Group are seeking a Site Manager on behalf of a highly reputable Main Contractor for a project in Cork. The project is a €45m healthcare project in Cork and the successful candidate will be the main Site Manager on the ground for the scheme, managing works onsite. There is longevity in the region so this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to base themselves in Munster long-term. €70,000 - €80,000 + package, depending on experience. Your main duties will include, but not be limited to: As Site Manager, you will be responsible for complete day to day operations of the site, including the coordination and supervision of on-site personnel and sub-contractors. You will have sole responsibility for the resolution of any day to day issues arising on site during the duration of the project. Supporting the Project Manager in delivering the project on time and within budget, whilst maintaining high safety, environmental and quality standards Liaising with Project Manager, site personnel, commercial team, and other relevant personnel Managing sub-contractors, engineering and operational staff and personnel on site Inspect works in progress/completed work to make sure complies with project specifications Handle onsite incidents and matters in a proactive manner Managing and implementing of the Safety Management System To be successful in your application you will possess the following: Trade Qualifications (Carpentry), or Construction related qualification Computer literate in Microsoft Office Package Extensive experience in management of sub-contractors. Excellent communication skills. Ability to motivate and manage personnel. Minimum of 5 years experience work at Foreman/Site Manager level in Ireland or the UK.
