Position: Site Manager / Finishing Foreman Location: County Mayo, Ireland Project: Hotel Refurbishment & Part New Build Contract Type: Full-time (Project-based) Salary: Competitive (Dependent on experience) Start Date: Immediate About the Project: An exciting opportunity has arisen to oversee the refurbishment and part new build of a luxury hotel in County Mayo. The project includes the renovation of existing structures and the addition of new build elements, creating a modern, high-end hospitality experience while preserving the character of the original hotel. We are looking for an experienced Site Manager/Finishing Foreman to ensure this prestigious project is delivered to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring work is completed to a high standard in accordance with the project plans. Manage day-to-day operations of the refurbishment and new build, including site safety, quality control, and subcontractor coordination. Monitor progress, ensure project milestones are met, and report regularly to the project manager. Supervise finishing trades, ensuring all finishes are to a superior standard. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve any issues and ensure smooth project delivery. Enforce health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment. Ensure that materials and resources are used efficiently and that the project stays within budget. Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship. Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager or Finishing Foreman, ideally in hotel refurbishment or high-end residential projects. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and finishes. Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of managing teams and liaising with stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality finishes. Familiarity with health and safety regulations and experience implementing site safety protocols. Valid Safe Pass and construction management qualifications (CIF would be a plus).
