Job Title: Site Manager Location: Leinster Area Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team for various projects across the Leinster area. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Site Management: Supervise and oversee all on-site construction activities. Ensure that projects stay on schedule and within budget. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure a smooth workflow. Team Management: Lead and direct a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and laborers. Assign tasks and responsibilities to workers, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency. Motivate and mentor team members, fostering a positive work environment. Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets quality standards and adheres to project specifications. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address defects or issues. Implement and monitor quality control measures and processes. Safety: Enforce safety protocols and regulations on the construction site. Conduct safety meetings and training sessions for workers. Investigate and report accidents or safety violations promptly and thoroughly. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve construction-related issues and challenges promptly. Collaborate with project stakeholders to find solutions to unexpected problems. Adapt plans and strategies to address project deviations and unforeseen obstacles. Communication: Serve as a liaison between workers, subcontractors, and project management. Provide regular updates on project progress and any deviations from the plan. Communicate project requirements and expectations clearly to the team, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry. Relevant third-level qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards. Proficiency in construction management software and tools is an advantage.
