Site Manager sought for prestigious commercial project in Dublin City, working with Ireland's leading main contractors in Fit-out and New Build construction, with opportunities to expand skills and progress career.

Design Build Search is seeking a Site Manager on behalf of our client, a leading main contractor specialising in Fit-out and New Build construction. The chosen candidate will work on a prestigious commercial project based in Dublin City.

The client ensures excellence in all aspects of their work, and you will have the opportunity to be part of large, commercial and industrial projects for high-profile clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from first day on site through to completion.
  • Help develop, plan and implement the programme.
  • Identify manpower requirements.
  • Manage sub-contractors and direct employees on site.
  • Consult and liaise with subcontractors re programme.
  • Ensure all resources are available on site when required.
  • Control Variations in consultation with QS.
  • Ensure compliance with Building Regs, Fire Regs etc.
  • Ensure highest levels of H&S, Quality and Environmental standards are met on site.
  • Ensure Finishing is carried out to a very high standard.
  • Site H & S in consultation with H&S Manager.
  • Attend and report at site meetings.
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, and surveyors.

Requirements:

  • Third Level Degree in Engineering / Construction Management / Project Management preferable but not essential.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in a Site Management role with a Main Contractor.
  • Strong planning, organisational and team work skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • High level of competency and accuracy in writing and maintaining clear and professional documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, staff and sub-contractors.
  • Ability to work well in a team based environment.

Remuneration:

  • €75,000 - €85,000 base salary (DOE).
  • Pension plan.
