A seasoned Site Manager with civils experience is sought for a new project in Northern Ireland, responsible for overseeing site operations, programme management, and quality control.
Our client, a leading building and civils contractor, is expanding its operations in Northern Ireland. As a key member of the project team, the successful candidate will lead the development of a new project in Omagh, Co. Tyrone. This role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of a high-profile project.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Supervise sites, employees, sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure effective project delivery. • Collaborate with the procurement and QS team to manage project programme and procurement needs. • Ensure projects are delivered as per agreed scope, with a strong focus on quality and health and safety. • Maintain accurate documentation on site, including H&S file management. • Develop and implement robust H&S measures to ensure safe project delivery. • Communicate project progress through various channels. • Oversee quality management on site, delivering high standards of quality.
Requirements: • 3+ years experience as a Site Manager on civils projects. • 6+ years experience working on civils projects. • Strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met. • Proven ability to manage project delivery, programme management, and procurement. • Strong health and safety focus, with ability to develop and implement H&S measures. • Ability to work independently, with self-motivation, ambition, and dedication. • Strong analytical and decision-making skills. • Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Power Point, and industry-specific software.
