JJ Rhatigan & Company is a leading Building Contractor with operations throughout Ireland and the UK. We are recruiting for a Site Manager to work on award-winning multi-million-euro projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Logistical management and upkeep of site offices, welfare facilities, subcontractor areas, and site roadways
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety plan, including inductions, method statements, and risk assessments
- Manage workforce on site, ensuring safe methods of working and minimizing environmental impact
- Implement and maintain safe systems of work in accordance with Site Health and Safety Management procedures
- Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring H&S standards are met
- Deal with H&S issues as they arise, reporting and rectifying incidents
- Complete bi-weekly inspections on safety performance
Additional Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate records are kept
- Prepare, implement, and update Inspection and Test Plans using BIM
- Ensure compliance with Environmental Management Plan
- Implement and monitor QA/QC to standard plans and procedures
- Responsible for implementing Project Management Plan (PMP) for your section of the works
- Generate daily diaries, recording site labour hours and activities
Requirements:
- Experience in the Construction Industry is essential
- Construction-related degree
- Minimum 5-10 years' experience with a Main Contractor in Ireland or the UK on £10m+ projects
