Site Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team at JJ Rhatigan & Company, one of Ireland's leading Building Contractors.

About the Role:

• Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure safe working practices and compliance with health and safety regulations.


• Supervise workforce on site to ensure safe methods of working and minimal environmental impact.


• Implement and maintain safe systems of work in accordance with site health and safety management procedures.


• Monitor and report on safety performance, accidents, and incidents.


• Work with site foreman, project manager, and EHS team to maintain satisfactory site conditions.


• Ensure accurate records are kept and compliance with quality management plans.


• Responsible for implementing and maintaining project management plans and quality assurance procedures.


• Manage site-based activities, including programming, labour hours, and activities.


• Develop and manage site-specific quality sheets and monitor workmanship on site.


• Provide input into weekly reports on progress and programme.


• Perform daily site duties, highlighting any delays against the programme.


• Maintain good working relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders.


• Interface with designers, project teams, and other visitors to site.


• Support manager and staff under control, and continue to develop the quality of the JJR brand.


• Ensure a professional approach at all times.

Requirements:

• Experience in the construction industry is essential.


• Construction-related degree.


• Minimum 5-10 years' experience with a main contractor in Ireland or the UK on £10m+ projects.
