The details for the selected vacancy are shown below.Overall Purpose of the JobTo take the lead in providing Facilities Management on a prestigious Life Sciences client facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operation on the ground, coordinating the hard and soft services for the facility. Also included is accurately and efficiently coordinating the onsite services as per IFM requirements and guidelines, with reporting requirements to the EMEA Program team also a priority. The manager will also be responsible for liaising closely with the client and other stakeholders such as the in-country and Program teams with day-to-day matters and ensuring these are aligned with any overarching strategic objectives. A strong knowledge of regulated spaces for both soft and hard services is a must.Main duties and responsibilitiesFull H&S responsibilities for all Apleona related activities and targetsFull P&L responsibility for all Apleona activities and targetsMonitoring, managing and reporting on all expenditure. Ensuring expenditure does not exceed budgetOverarching strategy is to self-deliver; the manager must have a strong desire towards self-delivery of services and propose tactical solutions to achieve thisFull operational responsibilities for all Apleona activities and targetsCreate succession planning and grow teams to achieve their best selfStrong focus on customer-centric approach to delivering and delighting clientsManage the operational direction of outsourced resources, including quality performance, employed in the design, installation and operation of building, engineering and FM servicesManage and determine the best fit for purpose service providers and drive procurement, tendering and managing of outsourced vendorsEnsure that all contracts are in place with the subcontractors. This is to include an appropriate SLA and Contract Summary AgreementAdhere strictly to onsite OP’s but also challenge status quo and suggest alternatives to existing processes via change control mechanismsEnsure all regulatory requirements are metMonitoring all PPM and DM (reactive works) that may impact on the business, and liaising with the business to ensure the PPM can be completed whilst not affecting productionMaintain auditable records for all in-house and outsourced PPM activities and ensure all documents are filed in an orderly fashionEnsure that all of the equipment is operational and that all equipment is working within defined parameters, settings and operational conditions as requiredConstantly identifying and creating ways to improve efficiency across all facilities related servicesFormal reporting to clients and Program teamsTake on ad-hoc projects/duties as deemed necessary by the client and/or Contracts ManagerPerson SpecificationUnderstanding of regulated facilities related servicesExperience of working in cGMP & cGDP environmentsExcellent knowledge of soft and hard servicesUnderstanding of mechanical and electrical building engineering services, their design, operation and maintenanceUnderstanding of human resource management and being part of a teamUnderstanding of financial budgeting, management and control techniquesWorking knowledge of service provision contracts and contract administration proceduresExcellent communication skillsExcellent problem-solving skillsEagerness to learn and progressQualifications and ExperienceMinimum 5 years’ experience working in a regulated facilities environmentExcellent PC skills, including Word/Excel/PowerPoint and projectSuitable experience in health and safety, and environmental issuesWorking PatternMonday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm, 40 hours per weekRef:13657 #J-18808-Ljbffr
