Experienced Site Manager sought for a leading Main Contractor in Dublin, with a strong track record of delivering large-scale projects and a passion for construction excellence.

Oradeo Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to join one of Ireland's top Main Contractors in Dublin. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient delivery of contract works, ensuring that projects are completed to the highest quality standards and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage employees, subcontractors, and materials to ensure the safe and effective delivery of contract works.
  • Ensure site works are carried out in the most efficient manner possible to achieve optimum commercial results for the contracts under your control.
  • Manage contract costs within budget and programme.
  • Ensure all work is completed to an acceptable quality standard and in compliance with specifications.
  • Implement and maintain a Quality Management System, including Quality and Environmental processes and procedures.
  • Ensure adequate resources are in place for contracts under your control.
  • Hold regular contract review meetings and pre-appointment meetings with subcontractors.
  • Complete performance reviews and personal development plans for direct reports.

Necessary Skills and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years construction Site Manager experience.
  • Sound knowledge of current construction techniques.
  • Ideal candidate will have an engineering background and have progressed to the Site Manager role.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, best practices, technologies, and materials.
  • Knowledge of subcontract and material procurement.
  • Knowledge of standards and specifications.
  • Knowledge of Safety & Health and Quality Policies and Procedures.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects to successful completion.
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks at a high level of quality.
