Your New CompanyHays Construction are currently representing a client who require the services of a skilled Site Manager to join them on their latest project. This firm has been established for over 30 years, delivering medium-scale design & build works across a range of sectors. They regularly carry out works in commercial, residential, healthcare, education, sports & leisure. This is a family-run firm with ethical and personable values. Recent projects include a landmark hotel build valued at over £10m and a factory refurbishment and extension at over £2m in value. They require a Site Manager with experience of commercial & education builds to join them on a permanent basis for their upcoming works.Your New RoleDue to sustained growth and bid success, this contractor requires an experienced Site Manager to join them on a project in the North West. As Site Manager, you will be expected to lead the onsite team with daily briefings, overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operation on the ground. You will be required to have excellent communication skills along with the ability to motivate a site team and sub-contractors to maximise productivity each day. You will be responsible for keeping the schedule of works on track, liaising with the project team to ensure client time and budget targets are met along with upholding health & safety standards.What You'll Need To SucceedIn order to carry out this role to the level expected, you will be required to have excellent technical ability along with being health & safety focused. You will have a proven track record of delivering new-build commercial and education schemes, whilst lending your expertise to the on-site team to ensure the project is delivered to specification.
