Site Reliability Engineer Cork, Ireland Salary:80K+ Permanent, Full-time We are currently looking for a Site Reliability Engineer for our client based in Cork. The ideal candidate will be already based in Cork, be interested in a hybrid work model and have experience with AWS. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure using AWS services. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployments and infrastructure provisioning. Monitor and manage system performance, availability, and capacity. Implement and maintain disaster recovery and high availability solutions. Collaborate with development teams to design and implement robust and scalable architectures. Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence. Develop and maintain documentation for incident response and operational procedures. Implement security best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our systems and data. Automate routine tasks to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience in a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or similar role. Strong expertise in AWS Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM Templates. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Solid scripting skills (Python, Shell, PowerShell) for automation and tooling. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.). Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps). Knowledge of networking concepts, including VPCs, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls.
