We are looking for Site Reliability Engineers to join our team. We want passionate engineers who love technology, platform engineering, operations and want to make an impact.We are the core team that supports the development platform that enables Workday to run on the Public Cloud (AWS/GCP). Our services and tools will accelerate and ease the adoption of Workday’s solution in our customer’s business.Our target users are internal Workday service teams and technical partners who improve the Workday application and need a platform to do this.About the RoleThe right candidate will put the customer first, understand their user stories and will identify ways to support them, ensuring stability and ability to scale and meeting the needs both of our customers and other Workday technical teams. In this role you will take ownership and will be passionate about operational excellence, automation, and developing self-service tooling to enable rapid innovation for developers.With constant attention and focus on our customers, you will deliver quickly on a wide range of daily tasks - from environment provisioning, monitoring, environment troubleshooting, incident management, ad-hoc requests and automation efforts - while providing transparency of work being performed. Collaborating and communicating with other teams is crucial to achieve success.About YouBasic Qualifications:BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field or equivalent3+ years of software and systems delivery experience2+ years of Development and Operations experience on a public cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure/Oracle)2+ years experience with Kubernetes1+ year of experience with software development using Go Lang, Python, Java or equivalent1+ year Linux Scripting experienceOther Qualifications:Know/apply SRE fundamentals such as SLO, SLA and SLIExperience working cross team in analysis and solution findingExperience with general monitoring solutions, crafting dashboards and alerts (e.g. Grafana)Continuous Delivery experience, owning your service through to production.Experience in Agile environments/Agile development methodologies.Experience developing automation solutions, CI/CD tools.Excellent communication and teamwork skillsCan work independently and with the attitude that everything can be automatedOur Approach to Flexible WorkWith Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
