Site Reliability Engineer - SRE
Real Time is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and deployment of tooling, monitoring, control, self-service reporting, and analysis approach.
About the Role
- Design and build monitoring solutions with a focus on traceability and remediation of security and network issues using management tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Develop and maintain scripts using Powershell/Python to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
- Work with monitoring tools such as Open Tracing, Open Telemetry, Elastic, Data Dog, and New Relic to ensure optimal system performance.
- Lead technical efforts to architect and develop monitoring solutions for alert response and troubleshooting.
- Triage incidents and document steps to resolve technical issues.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in a technical role, such as Dev Ops, Software Engineering, or Sys Engineering.
- Experience designing, installing, and configuring monitoring solutions in 24x7 environments.
- Strong cloud experience, ideally Azure (AWS, GCP).
