Site Reliability Engineer
Workday is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Multi-cloud development platform engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, platform engineering, and operations, with experience in software and systems delivery, development, and operations on a public cloud platform.
About the Role
- Take ownership of operational excellence, automation, and developing self-service tooling to enable rapid innovation for developers.
- Deliver quickly on a wide range of daily tasks, from environment provisioning, monitoring, environment troubleshooting, incident management, ad-hoc requests, and automation efforts.
- Collaborate and communicate with other teams to achieve success.
About You
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field or equivalent.
- 3+ years of software and systems delivery experience.
- 2+ years of Development and Operations experience on a public cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure/Oracle).
- 2+ years experience with Kubernetes.
- 1+ year of experience with software development using Go Lang, Python, Java or equivalent.
- 1+ year Linux Scripting experience.
