Our partner client is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join its growing team. This position will focus on monitoring, alerting, deployment, automation, and site/production issue mitigation/resolution. The team you will be joining is expanding with growing responsibilities and plenty of opportunities to progress. You will ensure high availability with adequate monitoring and instrumentation. Experience automating Linux system provisioning. Experience with logging infrastructure and tools such as Logstash, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Splunk, and HDFS. Maintain and extend operational processes to ensure high reliability of the entire technology stack. Implement best practices to manage utilization, optimization, and monitoring of cloud services. Handle deployments, automation, and instrumentation, and conduct analysis to improve DevOps. Configuration management experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Salt is desired. Participate in daytime on-call rotation to support site and production issues. Manage computing and storage infrastructure if needed on private cloud. You will require experience with DevOps tools, processes, and culture. 2-4 years experience in SRE, DevOps, or production operations role. Hands-on experience scripting with Perl, Python, or Ruby. Technical generalist knowledge of system administration, databases, and network platforms. A strong and attractive package is available with this role, including relocation allowances.
