Experienced Site Manager sought for Residential project in West Cork, requiring strong management skills and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing residential projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage on-site personnel and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with the project programme
- Attend contract review meetings with stakeholders to discuss project progress
- Maintain a safe working environment, with safe systems of work and competent personnel
- Record daily activity logs for all site activity
- Liaise with trade professionals to organize new work areas and ensure smooth coordination
- Manage site staff and direct them to designated work areas
- Attend regular site meetings with site management to update on progress
- Ensure all work areas are clear and ready to be handed over
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years site management experience
- Familiarity with materials ordering and lead times
- Detailed knowledge of site procedures
- Ability to manage and motivate client, subcontractor, and labour force
- Strong client focus
- Drive to motivate a successfully run team
- Construction Trade or Engineering qualification
