Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic SMB Business Development Representative to join our client, a specialised energy company. In this role, you will seek out and engage “good fit” companies through strategic prospecting, leveraging existing leads, and generating new interest through calls, emails, and social media messaging. Key Responsibilities: Prospect Identification: Conduct high-volume prospecting to identify and qualify potential SMB clients. Engagement: Use strategic prospecting methods to connect with prospects, understand their business challenges, and determine if our solutions can address their needs. Value Communication: Clearly and concisely communicate the value proposition of our solutions to generate interest in deeper conversations with an Account Executive. Collaboration: Work closely with Senior Sellers, Account Executives, and the Director of Sales & Marketing to develop fast-paced strategies for uncovering new opportunities. Needs Assessment: Conduct detailed needs assessment calls with assigned prospects to better understand their requirements. Requirements: Proven experience in sales or prospecting. Goal orientation with a determined approach to achieving them. Ability to address and overcome objections. Organisational and time management skills. Fluency in English Preferred Qualifications: 1-2 years of B2B sales experience. Experience in the energy sector, with a particular focus on the solar industry being advantageous.
