The Role We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join our exclusive hiring partner's Global Legal Team, providing comprehensive legal and compliance support to their Ireland-based operations.

Mission You will be responsible for delivering expert legal, regulatory, and compliance services, acting as a key business partner to provide strategic legal support and guidance on a broad spectrum of commercial and compliance issues.

Location This role offers a flexible hybrid working model, with some remote working options available.

The local office is based in Dublin.


The position requires regular travel within the UK and Ireland zone and occasional travel to other European locations, depending on business needs.

Some overnight stays may be required.

Key Responsibilities Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts, including standard industry construction agreements.

Reviewing and updating contract templates.

Providing support on claims and managing litigation matters.

Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.

Supporting various internal departments such as Real Estate, Finance, and HR.

Facilitating and providing training on compliance programs.

Offering general legal support as needed to meet the operational needs of the Ireland branch.


Qualifications and Skills A fully qualified lawyer with the authorization to practice in Ireland, holding a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Law or an equivalent qualification, and with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in commercial law.

Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with strong technical proficiency.

Experience working in an international corporate environment, with a demonstrated ability to operate in-house.

Strong ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, identifying and addressing key commercial and legal issues.

A proactive approach to applying legal expertise to deliver practical and effective solutions.

Excellent interpersonal skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to work well both independently and within teams.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle large workloads efficiently.
