Client:Our client a leading Multinational Semiconductor EDA Software Provider requires Snr Principal and Principal Digital Design Engineers for new roles based in Cork City, Ireland.Role:You will be a part of team developing leading edge Intellectual Property (IP) for a variety of High-Tech Markets. You will be a part of an experienced Controller IP Team with long established Controller development sites in Europe and India.Responsibilities:Technical leadership of complex IP such as Ethernet, Storage, PCIe/CXL, MIPI-Visual preference but not essentialHands-on leadership of RTL, Testbenches & FPGA Platforms developmentPlanning of activities and milestones for the Digital Controller Development teamsLeadership of cross-functional technical meetings with Analog & Software counterpartsSupport customer pre-sales and post-sales meetingsParticipate in Technical Review Meetings and Checklist Reviews as part of ISO-9001Represent the company in Standards Body Working Groups e.g. IEEE, PCI-SIG, JEDEC, MIPIRepresent the company by presenting at Industry Conference such as IEEE, DAC, MIPI AllianceEducation:Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related disciplineExperience:10+ years’ experience in microelectronics/EDA industryExperience of Verilog RTL Design essentialExperience of Metric Driven Verification (MDV) essentialExperience of Front-end design tools covering LINT, Synthesis, CDC Analysis essentialExperience of SoC Architecture and Development essentialExperience of Technical Team leadership essentialExcellent oral and written English essentialSelf-motivated with excellent planning, interpersonal, and communication skillsAdditional Skills/Preferences:Experience of AMBA protocols such as AXI, AHB & APB preferredExperience of Quality processes, such as ISO-9001 & ISO-26262 preferredContact:For further information please contact Mícheál at Software Placements on 00353 1 5254642 or email micheal@softwareplacements.ie #J-18808-Ljbffr
