Senior Quantity Surveyor A highly reputable Mid-sized Main Building Contractor seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor for their North Dublin headquarters. With a solid standing in the industry and a robust portfolio of public sector projects, our client offers an exciting opportunity. The appointed Senior QS will oversee multiple projects, reporting directly to the commercial director. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years quantity surveying experience within the main building contracting realm. Handy location if based along the M1 Motorway. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying Minimum of 7 years of professional experience, demonstrating expertise in liaising with Subcontractors and Clients regarding Valuations, Variations, Final Accounts, and cost reporting Proficient understanding of specifications, bills of quantities, and drawings Strong ability to extract quantities from drawings and issue enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate quotations Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other Quantity Surveying Packages Track record in Commercial/Industrial Projects Sound budgetary management skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including accurate reporting Outstanding organizational and time management abilities, capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously Self-motivated with the capacity to structure the workday independently, demonstrating flexibility and a strong commitment to success Team player with effective interpersonal skills, able to collaborate with diverse individuals Package: Competitive salary ranging from €85k €95k Comprehensive benefits package Provision of a company vehicle or vehicle allowance Possible Hybrid working If youre an experienced Quantity Surveyor seeking a new challenge, please submit your CV or contact Declan Hasson for a confidential discussion.
