Job Description
Seeking a SOC Analyst with 2-3 years experience for a permanent role in South Dublin.
Reporting to the regional Security Operations Lead, the SOC Analyst will defend against and respond to cybersecurity events and incidents in the client's ecosystem.
- Support users and business functions by ensuring they remain secure.
- Work as part of a team to deliver monitoring and protection in both a reactive and proactive manner.
- Roll out security tools, including creating documentation.
Key Tasks:
- Perform accurate and precise real-time analysis and correlation of logs/alerts from a multitude of client systems.
- Analyse and assess security incidents and advance to client resources or collaborate with internal teams for additional assistance.
- Determine if events constitute security incidents.
- Assign and escalate tickets in accordance with defined SLAs.
Key Experience:
- 1.2+ years experience in a similar type role, preferably within a SOC or NOC environment.
- Third Level qualification in Information Technology, Information Security or Engineering.
- Relevant professional accreditations, such as CISSP or similar.
