We are seeking a Social Care Assistant to join our team in Clonminch, Tullamore, Co Offaly. As a Social Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our service users, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care and support to service users, including personal care, meal preparation and household tasks.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing and toileting.
- Support service users with their daily routines, including medication administration and mobility assistance.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Cheerful, caring, positive and dependable personality.
- Prior experience in providing care and support to people with disabilities.
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent qualification.
- Full Irish Driver's License.
- Fluent English speaker.
