Carlow.Working to exceptional standards of care you will manage day to day operations and lead a team of Social Care Workers supporting our young people to reach their full potential.

Attractive salary Incremental salary scale Company Pension Scheme Core Professional Training provided free of charge Team Building Activities What you bring: The centre manager must have minimum QQI level 7 qualification in social care and hold or be enrolled in a programme leading to a management qualification suitable for a health or social care setting and 4 years full time work experience in a childrens residential care setting post qualification.
Alternatively, the manager may hold a QQI level 8 qualification in social care with 3 years post qualification work experience in a childrens residential care setting.
Or Alternatively hold a relevant qualification with 4 years full time work experience in a childrens residential care setting post qualification.
A professional qualification in Social Work is also considered as suitable, for a centre manager with the requisite 4 years post qualification practice experience and hold or be enrolled in a programme leading to a management qualification suitable for a health or social care setting.
Knowledge of the Irish National Standards in Childrens Residential Centres A full manual driving licence An ability to work with young people A passion and commitment to make a difference in young persons life A commitment to continuous improvement A willingness to be a positive role model as part of a care team
Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term Pay: €55, €60,000 per year Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Application question(s): 4 years of working in a Social Care Grade in a Childrens Residential Centre as relevant to the role.
