Job Summary: We are seeking a Social Care Worker/Autism Practitioner to provide day opportunities for adults with autism in North and South Dublin, focusing on personalized support and independence.
Gheel Autism Services provides a wide range of services for adults with autism, including day and vocational opportunities, outreach support, and supported living options. Our services are designed to support individuals with autism through their life journey, enabling them to have fulfilling life experiences and autonomy over their choices and decisions.
As a Social Care Worker/Autism Practitioner, you will work with individuals with autism to develop personalized plans of support, considering their strengths, motivations, and needs. You will also work with a team of practitioners to provide tailored support in local communities, assisting individuals with independent living skills, education, and employment possibilities, as well as social and leisure groups.
The ideal candidate will have a Level 7 award in Social Care/Studies or a relevant qualification, and be eligible for CORU registration. You will also have excellent communication and engagement skills, with at least one year of recent experience in the social care sector.

Salary Scale: €35,216 - €50,954 per annum based on working a 39-hour week.
