Relief Social Care Worker
Summary: Experienced Relief Social Care Worker required to provide therapeutic care programmes for children and young people with various needs.
Fresh Start, the longest existing Private Provider of Residential Social Care in Ireland, is seeking a Relief Social Care Worker to join their team.
- Deliver positive outcomes for children and young people with a variety of needs
- Provide therapeutic care programmes in a centre-based setting
- Work closely with children and young people to understand their needs and views
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum Level 7 Degree qualification in Social Care, Social Studies, Psychology, Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy, Counselling Psychotherapy, Addiction Counselling, Youth & Community Work, Social Work, Social Sciences, Teaching, Family Support, Disability Studies, Applied Behavioural Analysis, Nursing Studies, Early Years Care, Applied Policing or equivalent
- 1 year's experience of working with children and young people
- Full driver's license (highly desirable)
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary scale commensurate with post-qualification experience (€38,000 - €48,000 per annum)
