Job Description

The Social Care Worker plays a vital role in enhancing the lives of residents by working effectively with staff and promoting equality and respect.

• Establish and maintain relationships with service users based on equality and respect.
• Ensure service users receive high-quality care and support in accordance with organisational policies and HIQA standards.
• Maintain effective communication with families and support networks.
• Develop community contacts and encourage integration.
• Act as a proactive advocate for service users.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to the values of Stewarts Care, excellent organisational and communication skills, and a proven ability to implement HIQA standards.

• Requirements:
• Level 7 Degree in Social Care (in progress).
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Experience of working with people with complex needs.
• Excellent IT skills and report writing skills.
• High level of flexibility and ability to develop new approaches.

A full clean driving licence is an advantage.
