Job Description
Experienced social care professionals with strong leadership skills are sought to work in residential settings providing support to adults with intellectual disabilities in Wicklow and surrounding areas.
AA Euro Healthcare is welcoming applications from dedicated social care workers with a strong background in leadership and a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Requirements:- Social care qualification to at least Level 7 or equivalent
- Experience in managing medications is essential for this role
- Previous experience with CPI methods
- At least one year of post-qualification experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities
- Eligibility to work in Ireland, with a valid work visa
- Develop and implement personalized care plans that align with clients' wishes and goals
- Promote and protect the rights of individuals with intellectual disabilities, ensuring their dignity and autonomy are respected
- Foster an environment that supports the overall wellbeing of clients, including their health and personal care
- Assist in the teaching of life skills to empower clients to live independently
- Day shifts, Monday to Friday
- Night shifts
- Weekend availability
