Job Description
We are seeking a resilient and friendly Social Care Worker to join our team supporting autistic people to live life to the full.
Autism Initiatives has nearly fifty years' experience working positively alongside autistic people, their families and carers providing specialist services tailored to each individual.
Key Responsibilities
- Support autistic people to live independently and be part of their local community.
- Work shifts on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends and sleep-in duties.
- Develop support and care plans with individuals and their families.
Requirements
- A full QQI level 7 Award in Social Care or Applied Social Care/Studies/Practice at degree level with at least 6 months recent experience working as a Social Care Worker supporting people with complex needs.
- Or a relevant 3rd level qualification at degree level (e.g. Social Work/Psychology) with at least 2 years recent experience working as a Social Care Worker supporting people with complex needs.
