ARCS are currently recruiting for Full Time, Part Time & Relief Social Care Workers & Support Workers for their Autism and Disabilities centre based in Annestown, Co. Waterford.
Who we are -
As a Social Care Worker / Support Worker and working as part of a team you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities in the residential centre and work in close collaboration with the Deputy Team Leader and Team Lead in creating and maintaining a warm, accepting and secure environment for the young people in your care and will play a key role in the delivery of the highest standard of therapeutic residential services.
What we can offer you:
- Attractive starting salary package for our Full time Social Care Workers of €38,900- €41,000 annually (commensurate on experience)
- Attractive starting salary package for our Full time Support Workers of €35,200 - €37,400 annually (commensurate on experience)

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Level 7 qualification or degree in the care sector some relevant degrees include:
- Social Care
- Social work
- Psychology
- Child & Adult Psychotherapy
- Youth & Community
- Teaching
- Nursing
- Social Science
- Counselling
- Addiction Studies
- Early Childhood studies
- Disability studies
Support workers need a minimum of a Level 5 Major Award in the care sector.
- A full driving licence
- Experience of working with vulnerable young people and youth and families in the community or residential setting
