Job Description

Recruitment of Professionally Qualified Social Workers for Child and Family Service in Ireland, working across various services including Child Protection and Welfare, Family Support, and Children in Care.

Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with Tusla, Ireland's Child and Family Agency, is seeking experienced Social Workers to join their nationwide team. The successful candidates will work across a range of services, including Child Protection and Welfare, Family Support, Duty/Intake, Children in Care, and Fostering.

Tusla, the Child and Family Agency, was established in 2014 and is responsible for a range of statutory functions, including provision of child protection, alternative care, and family support services. The agency has commenced a major improvement programme with a focus on Practice, Culture, and Structure.

The Child and Family Agency provides a range of services, including:

  • Child Protection and Welfare
  • Family Support
  • Alternative Care
  • Adoption
  • Tusla Education Support Services (TESS)
  • Domestic Sexual and General Based Violence (DSGBV)
  • Children's Service Regulation
  • Counselling and Therapeutic Supports

Entry requirements for the role include:

  • A recognised qualification as a Professionally Qualified Social Worker and professional registration in your country of practice
  • Eligibility to apply for registration as a Professionally Qualified Social Worker with CORU
  • Experience and interest in working in children and families services
  • Experience and interest in working in child protection
  • A full clean driver's licence is desirable
  • Police clearance
