Software Design Engineer – Manufacturing Automation

- Develop innovative design solutions for various manufacturing environments, focusing on Large Automation Projects (Motion, Robotics, 3rd party Equipment, PLC & HMI) with code writing and development.
- Design Software Solutions for automation equipment projects, ensuring adherence to Codes of Practice, Company and Industry Standards.
- Research and coordinate the introduction of new technologies.
- Provide support during machine build and debug, ensuring timelines and targets are met.
- Collaborate with project team members, effectively communicating and prioritizing tasks.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Programming experience in PLCs/HMIs (Rockwell's suite of Automation software), with knowledge of Mitsubishi, Siemens, B&R, and Codesys.
- Script-based programming knowledge.
- Experience with robotics, AI, and Machine Learning.
- Strong understanding of Motion control and 6 Axis Robot systems.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
