Seeking highly proficient Software Development Engineer to enhance WiFi mesh router capabilities, improve connectivity, and design new features for eero's whole home connectivity products.
eero is a leading WiFi technology company that aims to reinvent the way people connect at home. As a Software Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of WiFi technology. You will work with international teams to analyze connectivity problems, design new features, and ensure a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance networking experiences for eero's whole home connectivity products
- Analyze connectivity issues and develop comprehensive solutions
- Delve into embedded system internals to optimize performance
- Improve wireless drivers, firmware, and hostap components
- Drive testing improvements and optimize client connectivity performance
- Collaborate with core operating system, mobile, and cloud teams to deliver features
- Maintain and update regulatory settings, board settings, tools, and scripts
Requirements
- MS or BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
- Proficiency in C or C++ programming language
- Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including algorithm design, data structures, problem solving, and complexity analysis
Preferred Qualifications
- Good English listening and speaking skills
- Experience with Linux or other embedded systems
- Proficiency in Python or Golang
- Understanding of computer networks and/or wireless networks
