IT Software Developer
Irish Life is seeking skilled IT Software Developers to join its dynamic Digital & Technology team.
As a key player in the Digital Delivery team, you'll be instrumental in driving the strategic ambitions of the Irish Life Group.
You will develop and deliver technical solutions within a customer-centric culture, enhancing the experience and performance of digital properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create engaging digital experiences by developing user-friendly web application interfaces that delight customers and advisors.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including Product Owners, Scrum Masters, UX/UI designers, QA, business stakeholders, and the wider IT community.
- Lead the design and development of digital customer and advisor journeys on digital properties.
- Contribute to strategic planning activities, including scoping and sizing.
- Perform critical analysis and peer code reviews.
- Represent the team in workshops to ensure optimal solutions.
- Mentor and train team members as needed.
- Collaborate with business partners and third-party vendors.
- Challenge team standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with new skills and technologies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in building engaging digital experiences.
- Excellent collaboration skills in a multi-disciplinary, agile team environment.
- In-depth knowledge of frontend technologies to optimize user experience and business objectives.
- Relevant business knowledge and data-driven problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership ability and eagerness to stay updated with the latest industry standards and technologies.
- Influencing skills to drive best practices and produce efficient, reusable code.
- Strong analytical skills.
