In support of our partners, you'll have opportunities to learn about security response and detection while building and maintaining our team's software.We bring information to our security partners to help them make the right judgements at the right times. We enable them to automate their own work. We give them what they need to find and stop trouble.Join our team in launching and operating our products in the new European Sovereign Cloud!Key job responsibilitiesYou will design, implement, and test systems for Security Engineers. You will use AWS services to build highly available infrastructure for these tools. You will implement security controls for our data storage and infrastructure. You will automate deployments, upgrades, and system changes.You will partner with security engineers and learn how they use our tools to protect Amazon’s operations. You will ensure that our systems can ingest petabytes of incoming data without slowing down. You will participate in oncall operations and keep systems operating for our partners across the company. You’ll uncover opportunities to build skills in cloud computing, security, and data engineering.You will work to support our tools in the new European Sovereign Cloud.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSExperience (non-internship) in professional software developmentExperience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systemsExperience programming with at least one software programming languagePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentExperience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operationsExperience with infrastructure as codeExperience with AWS servicesExperience with containerization technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Amazon Elastic Container ServiceAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
