Job Description
AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides foundational services like Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), with new product innovations that set AWS's services apart.
- Support Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things, and Platform services in AWS
- Help customers with specialized security solutions for cloud services
- Contribute to a new Generative AI application that will transform how enterprises operate
- Develop a cutting-edge product with a team of creative problem-solvers
- Collaborate across roles to build, test, and iterate on AI solutions
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Solve technical challenges and mentor junior engineers
- Translate business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables
- Build quick prototypes or proofs of concept with other technology leaders
- Help invent new features, design, develop, and deploy distributed services
- Work with Product Managers, Engineers, and Applied Scientists
Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
