Summary: AWS is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to develop software that manages network capacity and ensures the scalability of one of the world's largest and most complex networks.
Job Description: You will be part of a team responsible for building the infrastructure to manage network demand and plan for the future state of the network. You will analyze complex requirements, design software to back them up, and lead a team through continuous improvement. You will also operate the systems you build, guaranteeing availability and efficiency.

- Analyze complex and conflicting requirements, elaborating processes and designing the software to back them up
- Lead the team through continuous improvement, pushing for the highest quality standards and practices
- Operate the systems you build, guaranteeing availability and efficiency
- Participate in the community of AWS engineers to drive innovation, bringing original ideas and approaches
Requirements:
- Experience in professional software development
- Experience designing or architecting systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Experience with agile development practices
