Software Development Engineer for Cloud Front Routing

Cloud Front Routing organization is looking for experienced Software Engineers to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. We offer comprehensive relocation and benefit packages.
- As a Software Development Engineer, you will own and run one of the largest DNS and BGP infrastructure in the world.
- You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles.
You'll collaborate with people across AWS to help deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.
- You'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
- Key responsibilities include owning the core components (like Anti-DDoS, Flash traffic management, DNS Services, Anycast@scale, Availability systems and services).
As a member of the team, you will:
- Write documentation to get feedback and consensus from other Senior Engineers/Principal Engineers to make decisions on finding the optimal solutions for large scale problems.
- Participate in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Collaborate with the team to design, develop, build, monitor, and operationalize services that meet the goals of the organization.
The services that our team built have handled the traffic for several million concurrent viewers during live events like Cricket World Cup, FIFA World Cup, Thursday Night Football etc.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in professional software development.
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
